Okay, I happen to know this one. A former employee here who named a bunch of the rings (and is responsible for the Green Queen's aforementioned "80's Pop Song Names) was apparently experimenting with some of the online dating sites. He had a ad running that was titled: "Mystery Writer Seeks Lady in Red" (he was a fiction writer on the side) His ad talked about meeting for the first time and how his date should wear a red dress. He got a response that said: "Mystery Lady will show up wearing whatever she damn well pleases!" And so the Mystery Lady ring was born...

To answer the question about the Lorelai,the Green Queen told me: " Lorelai, to be honest, was one of the ones that I named based on the sound of it rather than the meaning. I had just named the 'London' ring and was rather liking the 'Lo-' sound at the moment, and 'Lorelai' just rolled off my tongue. It's such a gorgeous name, isn't it?"

That's in my hometown! I have pictures of me as a child there. Almost reminds me of my story of love. We dated in high school and broke up after we left. But 13 yrs later it ended as a happy ending. He found me by chance in another state. We are happily married now for one year. Never went to purchase rings cause I felt that it would be morally wrong to purchase a real diamond from a mined. Just came across your site by chance cause I've heard of lab diamonds from friends in science. So, I googled it and found ya'll. I'm thinking about purchasing soon! Thank you for posting this. Hahaha! Oh man, thanks everyone for your suggestions. Good news- I'm glue free!! I considered all of your suggestions and ultimately decided to go with olive oil...because it was the only thing I had readily available at home. I worked it into my hair, completely saturating it, and let it sit for several minutes. Then I slowly, slowly combed it out using a wide-tooth comb. Then I washed my hair....a lot. I used Dawn dishsoap to remove the excess oil on my hair. Things are (almost) back to normal, but the do is looking a little damaged....a trip to the beauty parlor is in order! Thanks again for all your help guys :) I really can't believe I did this!

Go to a Sally Beauty Supply and ask for "after wax remover". I'm a Cosmetologist and this product is used to remove wax from hair or anywhere else it happens to get after a waxing service. I think if it can get that sticky wax off hair it should help remove the glue. After trying this or any of the above removal steps I would recommend a shampoo cap. This is when you suds up your hair like normal with a deep clarifying or cleansing shampoo, you can add some baking soda also, and leave shampoo in and put a processing or shower cap on your hair and sit under dryer chair or use your blow dryer. It will help clean your hair really well with out damage. Then condition, condition, condition after!!! Good Luck!

Peanut butter. No joke. It works amazingly. I've had roofing tar in my hair and its taken it out. Take a handful of PB and work it into the glue spot in your hair. leave it for 5-10 minutes and then wash it out of your hair and wash your hair as you regularly would. The oils in the peanut butter will make the glue not sticky anymore and it should wash right out. Good Luck!

I second the rubbing alcohol suggestion - alcohol is an organic solvent - it should get in there and break up the glue... however, if that doesn't work, from experience goo-gone or goof-off would work (although that stuff is HARSH!)
