We are thrilled to announce that January will keep us all entertained by the things we all love to see: Cooking and Celebrities! I mean, who doesn't love a great tip in the kitchen, some new ideas for preparing a classic and two extremely talented and likable Chefs like Rachel Ray and Guy Fieri competing with each other?
We get to sit back and watch some familiar faces compete for the title of Celebrity Cook Off Champion! All of the challenges planned will be anything but easy, and with a weekly elimination, this will no doubt get competitive. Teams are broken into two groups of four, called 'Team Rachel' and 'Team Guy'.
Contestants start out with a smaller challenge, but by the end the final two remaining will be opening their own restaurants. They will design everything from the menu to the theme and décor , in only one day~ With the help of surprise partners, each restaurant serves a packed house full of hungry guests including Tim and Nina Zagat, founders of the Zagat Restaurant Guide.
The winner receives $50,000 for the charity they are supporting. The celebrities include our very own Miss USA Alyssa Campanella, wearing the Diamond Nexus crown and looking all kinds of fabulous!
We are rooting for Alyssa of course, and there is no doubt she will win but it will be exciting to see some of our other favorite celebs, like Cheech Marin and Coolio attempt to battle her for the win! Those guys will bring some amazing energy to the show, and Coolio's trademark hair is also making an appearance.
Lou Diamond Phillips, Taylor Dayne, Aaron Carter , Joey Fatone and U.S Olympic Swimmer Summer Sanders are also being featured. I secretly hope that I hear a duet of La Bamba with Lou and Taylor~ That could be a sensation!

“Celebrity Food Festival” and the teams must throw a food festival! Each celebrity must cook dish that serves 150 people. At the end of the festival the bottom two celebrities compete in a sudden death challenge, and one celeb is eliminated from the competition.
The first episode will be tough, cooking for that large of a group is no easy task. But since we know that Miss USA is one strong woman, this won't be too hard for her to win! Go Alyssa! Jen and Kyle and everyone here at Diamond Nexus will be cheering for her, as she knows what a true crown winner needs to bring.
