This winter’s most fashionable outer layers

Winter is in full swing and, if you haven’t noticed already, your coat has become a major part of your wardrobe!  Freshen up that wardrobe with this winter’s hottest outer layers!  Here is what we at Diamond Nexus Labs love this winter:

1)      Animal print

 Although not for the faint of heart, an animal print will get you noticed!  Best if worn with blacks or browns, a nice leopard print coat is sure to come back into fashion every couple of seasons.








2)      Leather jacket (faux of course!)

Not just for motorcyclists anymore, leather jackets are a great way to show some attitude while staying warm! Although edgy is very in this season, go with a more conservative look if you want it to last more than just this season.  And remember, go with faux leather for all the style and none of the guilt!






3)      Faux fur
We at DNL would never recommend actual fur coats! Faux coats are not only a fun way to get the same look; faux is in! Don’t be afraid to go a little over the top with your coat; bigger is better in this case!








4)      Classic trench coat
You don’t have to be a Dick Tracy to look good in a great trench coat.  Try not to go too crazy with this one and stick to a simple camel color that will last you a couple of seasons.  Keep the length under control though and don’t go past the knees.






 
5)      Puffy jacket
Although sleek is usually in, a big and fluffy puffy jacket can not only keep you warm, but allow you to look your best.  The perfect coat for those looking to hit the hills this winter, this coat is functional, versatile and fashionable!
